Domain Email Setup for Outlook 2007 on Windows

From the Tools menu, select Account Settings...



From the Account Settings window under the Email tab, click the New button.



Select the option for Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP. Click the Next button.



Click the box to check Manually configure server settings or additional server types. Click the Next button.



Select the option Internet E-Mail. Click the Next button.



In the next window, Internet E-mail Settings, you will be asked to fill out your account settings. Enter your name as you would like it to appear on your outgoing messages in the Your Name field. In the E-mail Address field, type in your full domain email address. Server Information will need to be specified as follows:

Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.covadmail.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.cvoadmail.net

Alternatively, you may also use your domain settings:
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com or pop.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com or smtp.yourdomain.com

Under the Login Information section, type your full domain email address in the User Name field. Type your e-mail account password in the Password field and click the option to check the box Remember password. Once you have finished these settings, click the More Settings... button.



Click on the Outgoing Server tab, then click the box to check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Then click the option Use settings as my incoming mail server. Click the OK button. This will return you to the Internet E-mail Settings window. Click the Next button.



Click the Finish button and your Covad.net email account will be added.
