Advanced User ID & Passwords

You chose a user ID or username and password when you initially signed up for service.
This username is required to:
• Access My Covad Account as well as your main Covad.net email account.
• Standard DSL customers will need this username and password to log on to the Internet using their PPPoE software.
• The same username and password is required to use the dial-up service.

What is my User ID and Password?
You created your primary User ID and password when you initially ordered your service.

When do I use my User ID and Password?
You use your user ID and password to:
• Access My Covad Account
• Log on to the Internet (Standard DSL services only)
• Use Covad dial-up service
• Check your primary/administrative covad.net email account
• Upload content to your covad.net web space
• Password is also used to FTP to any Covad-hosted websites (username is domain name)

What if I forget my password?
You can go to www.covad.net and click on the Login Help link. Covad will ask you for your user ID and the answer to your secret question. If you answer the question correctly, we will email your password to your main/administrative email address.

What if I forget my user ID, or have other problems?
If you forget you user ID or have other login problems, please call Covad Customer Care at 888-64-COVAD.
